Citronella Oil

Central Nepal is the place from where Citronella oil originates. This oil has a fresh and mesmerizing scent. The color of this oil is light yellow. The refractive index of this oil goes from 1.4750 to 1.4885 at 23 degree Celsius. You can this oil through steam distillation process. In the process, the leaves of the resilient grass are steam distilled.

Citronella oil has a botanical that reads Cymbopogon winterianus Jowitt. Zeylanicum is the common name of this oil. Experts suggest that this oil can blend without any problem with different oils such as Geranium, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Bitter Orange, Lavender, Lemon, Orange and Pine. There are lots of uses of this oil when it comes to therapeutic applications.
