Jasmine Oil

Jasmine oil's origins can be traced from India. This oil has reddish brown color and its smell is wonderful. This oil is soluble in alcohol and oils and it is insoluble when it comes to water. The refractive index of this oil is from 1.475 to1.495. Jasmine plant comes from Jasminum Gradiflora (synonym officinale) of Oleaceae family. Hydro distillation process is used to extract the oil.

This oil's other names are Jasmin, Jasmine and Jassamine. It has all the qualities to help you scarring off the pregnancy marks and you can also reduce skin stretch marks with the use of it. Rose, all citrus oil, sandalwood and Bergamot are the oils can be mixed with it easily. Other features of this oil is that it can help you toning up the body. You can also use this oil if you have greasy, dry or sensitive skin.

More than 100 chemical components can be found in jasmine oil, but the main ones are indole, benzyl benzoate, geraniol, methyl anthranilate, cis-jasmone, and trace amounts of p. cresol, farnesol, nerol, ceosol, cis-3-hexenyl benzoate, eugenol, benzoic acid, benzyl acetate, linalool, benzyl alcohol, nerolidol, isohytol, benzaldehyde, y-terpineol and phytol etc.
